Although copper has known anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties (Reference: Copper and the Skin, Hostynek, JJ, and, Maibach, HI (editors, 2006)) No peer-reviewed studies of the effect of copper chloride on perspiration have been published. (Note: Presently, double blind, controlled, patient studies are underway to determine if copper chloride has anti-perspirant activity.)
